HISTORY:

2001 – Biotechnology department was created by order of Mongolian Technical University in order to conduct training and research study in the field of biotechnology.

2001 – Professors’ teams were created at branch schools by order of Mongolian Technical University.

2003 – Three professors’ teams like “Food chemistry technology”, “Food biotechnology”, “Food microbiology” were created at Biotechnology department of Food and Biotechnology School, MUST.

2004 – Professors’ teams started to collaborate with “Research and Development Center of Food and Biotechnology” named after N.Bagabandi, Honorary doctor of MUST.

2006 – Three professors’ teams united under the name of “Food Biotechnology”

2014 – Department of Biotechnology and nutrition
